THE WEDDING

Although our minds are filled with many different Christmas present ideas, we are confident that none of them would be able to compete with the surprise of Mónika and Pál. The guests received their wedding invitations at Christmas Eve, and the wedding was held on the 28th December. The ceremony took place at a little chapel in Slovakia, near the riverside of the frozen Danube. When exiting the chapel, the sunset painted the sky beautifully which provided a beautiful background for photos. The venue for the dinner was St. Petrus Vini, a lovely cottage nearby. Few people chose to hold their weddings during the winter season, however it definitely has its charm. We placed a great emphasis on the decoration to implement the Christmas spirit into the day. The venue was decorated with green pine, fairy lights and sparkles, while the fireplace was full with beautiful candles. Our favourite element of the decoration was the hot chocolate served in personalised mugs. .Another highlight of the day were the beautiful, colourful desserts and delicious cake prepared by NekedCake.
